Since 1890, the Noceras family have been baking their artisanal Galletes Gori in the heart of Muro. Each crumb is filled with history, a traditional biscuit from the island of Mallorca.
In the past, this type of biscuit was popularly termed “the bread of sailors”, highly prized by seamen during long voyages throughout the Mediterranean.
Retaining a fresh-baked quality for many months, the biscuits were such a success that many British naval companies would stock their galleys when docking at Menorca, to ensure fresh supplies for the long weeks at sea.
“Our philosophy highlights our continuing respect regarding the traditional methods of baking our products, using only natural ingredients locally sourced on the island.”.
